Each lodge has a common kitchen-dining-lounge area and a large covered outside entertainment area. Some lodges have swimming pools.

The lodges are set well back from the golf course and are within a hundred meters of the Kruger Park fence. The Kruger Park gate is five minutes from the estate.

Wild animal & bird life is prolific. The roaring of lions & the trumpeting of elephants from the Kruger Park is often heard in the evenings.

The Hans Merensky golf course is ranked among the best in South Africa. As well as being a great golf course, it is well known for the wildlife that is encountered by golfers.
